I’m currently a machine learning geoscientist and technical & business development in Asia Pacific Region at dGB Earth Science based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My role includes building and shipping machine learning models to solve geoscience problems, implement business development strategies, conduct market research, also develop and maintain relationships with universities in the Asia Pacific Region.
In January 2023, I graduated from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS with an MSc by research in Petroleum Geoscience. With the Graduate Research Assistance scholarship program, I’m writing my thesis from a joint project with PETRONAS Research Sdn Bhd on Automated Geological Features Interpretation using Semi-Supervised Learning. My research interests lie in applying Artificial Intelligence to Geoscience problems focusing on seismic and well log data.
At night, I’m a machine learning consultant helping 100+ clients solve their problems with Data Science and Python. My stacks include Python, MATLAB, C#, and PyQt5.
